We thought of new forms and modalities because the only truly unimaginable thing is a year of silence, emptiness and surrender at the expense of a shortlist of international publishers with beautiful publications and brilliant projects to tell. People to meet at least once a year to immerse ourselves into their imagination, into their difficult work and into their creativity.
The most important issue concerns the market, the heart of the event and core for supporting the independent publishing. We thought of a virtual version: a daily program in order to give space and visibility to independent publishing. Starting from April 20th, each exhibitor will have a digital platform on Zoom to present their editorial project and open a direct sales channel to their virtual shop. Meetings will also be broadcast live on Facebook and available in the following days on a YouTube channel.
