FRUIT. FOCUS ON CONTEMPORARY ART
Since sometime contemporary art has established connections with the editorial world making choices which divert from the mainstream market, coming to radical solutions peculiar to the artistic language and unlocking unexpected research scenarios. FRUIT’s main objective is to make these productions emerge and give them visibility. Following the event taking place March 2012 simultaneously with the Children Book Fair, it seemed obvious to consider the invitation of Art Book Festival taking place in Bologna presenting a new section dedicated to self-publishing. For this next step, the selection of the participating publishers will focus on daring projects, deeply rooted in the field of contemporary art, without limitations to sizes, edition and distribution.
