PRESENTATION OF ABITATA PIETRA – INHABITED TOPOGRAPHY, VIAINDUSTRIAE PUBLISHING
With Antonio Cammareri and Luogo Comune
Abitata pietra is the publishing project by Antonio Cammareri, Stefania D’Amato and Luogo Comune, curated by Marco Trulli, as part of the residence Un atlante del paesaggio rupestre held in the context of Matera 2019. The book is the result of intense visual research and narrative experimentation carried out collectively by the artists; a reflection on the landscape told through images. It is a reflection on the landscape told through images, a set of visual stratifications and meanings on living, the rocky landscape and communities.

Presenter: Francesco Ciaponi (lecturer in History of the Press and Publishing at LABA Rimini, Media Phenomenology at LABA Florence and director of Edizioni del Frisco).
Guests: Daniel Tummolillo (Professor of Serigraphy Art at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera and author of the book “V.I.P. Various Italian Printmakers”).

AWARD CEREMONY FIP – FRUIT INDIE PUBLISHING – SECOND EDITION
Award ceremony for the winning publishing project that has distinguished itself for having expressed the theme of “travel” in the most original and effective way.
The second edition of the FIP award is in collaboration with Favini, a historic Italian paper mill, and is intended for the production of an unpublished work.

URBANER – a project by the Municipality of Modena on Urban Cultures in Emilia-Romagna.
Analysis and documentation between aesthetics, anthropology and society.
Presented by Elia Mazzotti Gentili and Simone Ferrarini (scientific directors together with Pierpaolo Ascari and Pietro Rivasi of the project), moderated by Cinzia Ascari (independent curator and head of the Media and Visual Arts programme for Future Education Modena).

PREMIERE screening of ART BOOK STORIES, a documentary on the world of independent publications.
Directed by Christian Battiferro and produced by Crudo in collaboration with Fondazione Fitstic.
